March 5th & 19th
Reyna Shawl – Advanced beginner class
March 9th and 16th, 10-12 (Two 2 hour classes) – $55 +tax
Learn how to start at the top center of a shawl, increase, knit a twisted stitch, and create basic yarnover lace panels (without a chart! Yay!). The Reyna is a super fun-and-quick-to-knit shawl pattern in garter stitch with simple lace mesh panels, designed specifically to use up that one skein of pretty fingering weight yarn that you’re not quite sure what to do with! Pattern is supplied prior to the class. As this is a repeating pattern, the shawl will be started in class but completed at home, with the second class for troubleshooting and continuation of the pattern.
Required to know basic cast on, knit and purl, as well as cast off.
Supplies: One 400yard (or more) skein fingering weight yarn, 3.5mm 32″ or 40″ circular, and wool needle to weave in ends.
Private lessons can also be scheduled depending on teacher availability. Want to learn a craft?? Call and find out if we can teach you!
