Similar to Meadow Light, but with a lighter and more structured 2-ply construction and a higher linen content, Willow Light is spun from 83.3% Merino ( 21 micron) and 16.7% Belgian linen. The linen fibres resist the dye differently than the Merino, creating a naturally heathered, organic look with subtle depth and character in every skein. With it's more structured texture, Willow Light knits into a light, lively fabric that beautifully balances softness, texture, and definition.
Every skein is thoughtfully hand dyed by us in 100 Mile House, British Columbia, where we create rich, nuanced colourways inspired by the landscapes that surround us. The result is a yarn that's as beautiful to knit as it is to wear.

While this yarn is technically Superwash, handwashing with cool water (with wool wash), and laying flat to dry are very much recommended to protect the integrity and colour of the yarn. Please note that even though we are diligent with thorough rinsing, very occasionally there can still be a small amount of excess dye and colour bleeding on the first few washes of your project, due to the hand dyed nature of the yarn. This can happen with any yarn, but most especially with highly saturated colours.
